A São Paulo sommelier opens her own natural wine bar in the third feature from Gabe Klinger (Porto, SFF 2017; Double Play: James Benning and Richard Linklater, SFF 2014). Berlin 2026.

Bright, talented sommelier Isabel (Marina Person, also co-writer) suffers under an unappreciative boss at a Michelin-starred restaurant in São Paulo. When a wealthy American diner (John Ortiz, American Fiction) takes an interest in her sharp nose and penchant for sourcing punk-rock wines, Isabel senses he could be her meal ticket to opening her own place. But is he too good to be true? Klinger's latest is an endearing character study, enriched by the character of the São Paulo fine-dining scene and blessed by the immense likeability, warmth and wit of Marina Person as Isabel. Bursting with the pleasures of food, wine and following your passion, it's a zesty, sensuous ode to second chances and taking risks.

Marina Person gives a winning performance as an ambitious São Paulo sommelier.
