For over a decade, EUROPE! Voices of Women+ in Film has evolved into a vibrant initiative championing diversity and fostering international exchange.
As the dedicated media partner of European Film Promotion (EFP), Cineuropa proudly celebrates the richness, vision, and creative power of outstanding European films by women and genderqueer directors. Together, we bring their voices to the global stage, highlighting the breadth and brilliance of storytelling from across the continent.
In radically different, highly individual, and often unexpected ways, these directors with unmistakable authorial signatures confront audiences with boundary-pushing experiences, elusive inner worlds and the fundamental longing to belong – shaping, in an increasingly fractured world, visions of hope and resilience. Their works pose urgent questions about identity, purpose and the search for connection.
In partnership with Sydney Film Festival, Cineuropa and EFP are honoured to spotlight these exceptional talents and present their remarkable work to audiences in Sydney and around the world.
